Desk Modification

So after looking at a plain desk, the monitor began to look too obvious and I was thinking how to "disguise" it. I designed some DVD facias. I have printed artwork of around 300 DVDs and put them into cut sections of basically the spine of a DVD case (around 1cm deep, it fooled a few people).

This idea worked in part, but not how I liked. I ended up buying a Hafele e-riser and all the stuff to make it work. Expensive.

Although obviously a lot of work went into this, I didn't like it as the "box" felt claustrophobic and one could only see the screen if you were sitting in front of it, Unfortunately it had to go...

So this is an internal shot so I could see how it closed and whether everything was as tight as I could get it
